The detective is a very in-depth career and can be extremely fun. The detective will then go back to the station to interrogate the criminal and throw them in jail. While searching for the criminal, you can also issue citations to other sims fighting or littering. You will then go back to the Police Station to analyze the evidence and find clues about the criminal before going out to find the suspect and arrest him or her. When playing as a detective, you will not only work in the new Police Station, but also go to other sims’ houses around the world to investigate several different types of crimes committed.You will have to collect evidence and take pictures of them with the new photography skill. It is a fun and hectic career to play around with, although in the beginning level of the career, it is a bit dull. As you are promoted you are able to do all sorts of things from giving a sick patient surgery with the new surgery board, delivering babies with the same board, and also take house calls for extremely sick patients. You start off doing simple stuff, feeding patients, treating them of their sicknesses, admitting them into the hospital, and giving test samples to the higher ranked doctor. With the doctor career, you are able to control your sim in a hospital doing all sorts of doctor-like things. These, known as rabbit holes, have been removed from The Sims 4.
